DM clinic room 1The One-Year MPS-Oral Health to Dental Medicine (MPS-OH to DM) Pathway is a specialized pathway offering an in-depth understanding of oral health biology. MPS-OH to DM Pathway will help students to build a strong foundation in oral biology including oral cavity histology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology and head & neck anatomy. Also, to enhance the research background of the graduate students in the MPS-OH to DM Pathway, the students are required to complete a capstone paper project in oral-pathophysiology field. Therefore, the MPS-OH to DM Pathway is a great preparation for students pursuing a career in dental field. Because of MPS-OH to DM Pathway curriculum is significantly overlapping with the foundation curriculum of the first-year dental school, thus, it will enhance students’ academic credibility leading to significant increase in their chances to get accepted in different dental programs.

Admission Requirements for MPS-Oral Health to Dental Medicine Pathway

  • Application Fee: $60.
  • Official Transcripts: Your academic records from each college-level institution you have attended are required.
  • Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA 3.0.


Applications to dental school are at an all time high, thus thousands of applicants must compete for a very limited number of interview spots. Students in MPS-Oral Health to Dental Medicine Pathway must meet or exceed the following criteria to guarantee CNUCDM interview:

  1. Achieve MPS-OH to DM Pathway – MPS-OH GPA equal to or greater of 3.2.
  2. Achieve DAT score of 17 or above and PAT score of 18 or above.
  3. The DAT score should be achieved within 3 years of the beginning of the application cycle to the CNUCDM.
  4. MPS-OH to DM Pathway students must complete prerequisites course requirements for CNUCDM admission which are listed in the college’s website.
  5. MPS-OH to DM Pathway applicants must challenge the Casper test.
  6. Qualified MPS-OH to DM Pathway students must submit a formal application for CNUCDM admission through the ADEA AADSAS application portal.
