MPS to MD (2 + 4)-Combined Programs
Program Description: The MPS to MD (2+4)-Combined Programs at California Northstate University (CNU) is developed to provide education and training opportunities for students who are ultimately interested in pursuing a career as medical doctor through a six-year combined program in drug development and pharmaceutical sciences followed by progression to CNU college of Medicine. The goal of the six - year combined program is to train aspiring physicians as future “Clinician Scientists”.
Why enroll in MPS to MD (2+4)-Combined Programs: In order to matriculate in CNU college of medicine, students should successfully finish two – year MPS education → Achieve minimum GPA of 3.5 in the MPS program, score 508 or higher in MCAT→ Submit the AMCAS application and the secondary application, and participate in CNU College of Medicine admission interview→Continue MPS-MD combined programs and matriculate in CNU College of Medicine four-year MD program.
